The Path of the Paddle

This week sees the return of our team who have been Canoeing in the Ardeche, France.  Aspirant Instructors Keith Whitehead and Brian Fox were joined by canoeing experts Tony Pape (Blue) and his wife Caroline to run this unique course designed to equip you with the necessary skills to make the most of this most beautiful mode of travel.

The weather was fantastic over the week with warm sunshine and warm water, which makes rescue training and capsizing definitely more bearable.

After three days training, set in the beautiful Ardeche gorge the group embarked on a fantastic adventure staying over-night at one of the gorge’s wild camp sites within the Nature Reserve.

  1. Stunning place!

Just curious, will there be a write up, or some photos, from the Canadian Wilderness Canoe expedition last month?

  2. Ah sweet, looking forward to it!
