I have been testing my new Leaf Cutter Rucksack in the great Pacific Northwest (USA) and have enjoyed the simplicity of design, ruggedness of the materials used and the weight of the pack. Very enjoyable to wear and comforting to know it can withstand anything the environment throws at it.

After using my pack for the last three weeks assisting on the Fundamental course I have to say I am very happy with it. The size is great and the back and straps comfy when loaded; even though I waterproof all my kit using dry bags, the fact that the pack itself doesn’t get waterlogged really helps to keep the weight down. The straps on the side pockets are great for cinching down the lids and keeping things from rattling around, with the top pocket zip orientated as it is allows me to get items such as my Etrex out with out taking the pack off. I think I have found a new travelling friend.
